Frequently asked questions
Do you charge per crew member or contractor?
Never for access. Crew members, contractors, warehouse staff, vendors, and client portal users are unlimited and free — your entire freelancer network can live on the platform at no cost. We only count admin seats, the office users who run shows, money, and settings.
What counts as an admin seat?
Users who manage shows, crew, money, or settings. Crew members who clock in, accept offers, and view schedules don't count. Client portal users don't count either. Need more seats than your tier includes? Add them for $49/mo each.
Can I add or remove modules later?
Yes. Modules can be turned on or off any time from Settings. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle, and your data is kept if you turn a module back on later.
When does an Everything tier make sense?
All 6 modules à la carte would be $534/mo. If you run most of your operation on ShowHQ, an Everything tier is the better deal — pick the one matching your office headcount and grow into the next.
Are integrations included or do they cost extra?
All integrations are included with their related modules at no extra charge — QuickBooks, Gmail, and Outlook among them. E-signing is built in too: unlimited, with tamper-evident documents, digital signatures, timestamps, and exportable evidence. No per-envelope fees, ever.
Do you offer annual billing?
Yes — pay annually and get 2 months free versus monthly billing.
Is ShowHQ secure and compliant?
Yes. All PII is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM and data in transit is secured with TLS 1.2+. Signed documents are sealed with SHA-256 tamper-evident hashes and trusted timestamps. We enforce row-level tenant isolation, role-based access control, MFA, and comprehensive audit logging.
Where is my data stored?
Your data is hosted on Supabase infrastructure with geo-redundant storage. Daily automated backups are retained for 30 days with point-in-time recovery. You own your data and can request a full export at any time.
